Pillow by GC Designs out of Cascade 220 Superwash Merino in 1 Cream and 29 Red, repairs on a scarf her grandmother knit for her mom in the 60’s or 70’s, and a Corner to Corner Crochet Throw by Catherine J. Watson out of Lionbrand Heartland in 153 Black canyon, 98 Acadia, 158 Yellowstone, and 113 Redwood.

Diana finished a Really Warm Hat by Melissa LaBarre out of Cascade Yarns Lana Grande in 6040 Charcoal for her friend who is currently visiting Australia.

Jocelyn got some self-striping holiday sock yarn from Dye for Ewe in My Kind of Holiday Baking. Diana got some Cascade Lana Grande in colour #6040 (grey) and a giant faux fur pom pom to make her friend a hat for when she gets back from Australia.

Diana frogged an old project and started the Bloomsbury Mitts from the Love of Knitting Fall 2017 magazine by Interweave we reviewed a while back. She continued working on the Wonder Woman Wrap by Carissa Browning out of Manos del Uruguay Alegría in Carmine and Manos del Uruguay Fino in Filigree.

Jocelyn has been working on 365 Days of Granny Squares by YarnUtopia out of Red Heart Soft Classic, the Zadie Sweater by Mercedes Tarasovich out of Cloudborn Highland Worsted in Slate Heather, the Wonder Woman Wrap by Carissa Browning out of Manos del Uruguay Alegría in Carmine and Manos del Uruguay Fino in Filigree, and the Speckle & Pop! Westknits Mystery Shawl KAL 2017 by Stephen West out of Manos del Uruguay Alegría in Colibri (and ???) and some Hedghog Fibres Sock Minis: Merlot, Glacier, Graphite, and Hunter.

Yarn on the Go

Jocelyn got yarn from Midknit Cravings, worsted weight Juice Box, Berry Burst, and Pink Mimosa. She also went shopping at Wolsley Wool and got yarn for the Comfort Fade Cardi by Andrea Mowry. She also got the Ontario colourway of the National Parks Yarn Collection by Fleece Artist. She also also got some Get Off My Lawn! and Hearthside from Ancient Arts Fibre Crafts.

Also, Jocelyn’s sister got married!

Fibre Flubs

Diana learned that she shouldn’t try to learn new things or read charts while watching TV.

Spinning Yarns

Jocelyn taught her mom how to spin a little. Diana is planning a spinning project.
