Episode 34 – Vacuum-Packed Pigeon

What’s in Our Cup

Jocelyn is drinking Twinings Pure Peppermint.

Diana is drinking Twinings Orange and Cinnamon Spice.

Cool Threads

Jocelyn has been wearing the Coffee Shop Shawl, Lightning Fast Mittens, Textured Triangle Shawl, and her Cat Hat.

Diana has been wearing her Sockhead hat, socks, and her Wonder Woman Wrap.

Woolly Workings

Jocelyn has been working on Christmas Cat Hats by Kat Coyle out of Loops and Threads Impeccable Ombres and Solids, her mom’s Dragon’s Rest Shawl by Abigail Phelps out of Bernat Premium in grey, and 365 Days of Granny Squares by YarnUtopia out of Red Heart Soft Classic.

Diana has been working on Thrummed Mittens for Knit Club based on the Lightning Fast Mittens by Hill Vintage and Knits out of Borgo de’ Pazzi Paco in Camel and Grey, and finished the first of the pair of Bloomsbury Mitts by Uma Padu from Love of Knitting, Fall 2017 out of Allison Barnes Yarn Merino Worsted in Resillience.

Yarn on the Go

Jocelyn took her yarn to the hospital (again!).

Diana mentored at the Canada Learning Code (formerly Ladies Learning Code) Python workshop and visted some family, where the Bloomsbury Mitt was finished.

Fibre Flubs

Diana is semi-designing the Thrummed Mittens, so some ripping and re-knitting was required. She also frogged the Distinction Shawl that’s been hibernating.

Jocelyn restarted the Dragon’s Rest Shawl because her stitch count was off.

Sew Little Time

Jocelyn did some clean up on the hems of our Regency Era dresses. She also worked on some Christmas bags.
