Fibre Flubs

Jocelyn dropped a stitch on her March socks.

Diana’s lifeline on her Wedding Shawl ran away.

Yarn on the Go

Jocelyn went everywhere this week and managed to sneak in some doctor waiting room sock knitting, coffee shop shawl knitting while caffeinating and watching Critical Role on YouTube. Then she was off to the bi-weekly Knit and Nosh event down at Across the Board Game Cafe. Add in one last-minute lunch date with her sister and grandparents and you can begin to see how quickly a week goes by.

Diana went places but didn’t have time to knit.

Sew Little Time

To get ready for the spring/summer craft markets, Jocelyn has been finishing up her production sewing for those events before she goes on vacation. She is also worked on some summer dresses for herself.

Wool Gathering

Diana showed off her birthday acquisitions which included some decorative buttons, a fabulous gift card for the local yarn store, some cotton, Loops and Threads Charisma in Northern Lights and Dark Purple, and last but not least another Caron Big Cake in Pistachio Macaron. She also got a lovely pin upcycled from an old piano key.

Jocelyn has been thinking about more KALs as she does. She was able to catch the Grocery Girls Podcast live and has fallen in love with the idea of joining in on the Sweaterpaloza KAL they are running in their Ravelry group.

Jocelyn enjoys participating in the Fiber Friends KAL whenever she can even if she doesn’t finish things on time. So, of course, she is joining in on their April 1 sweater cast on.

The CozyUp WithTheStitchinSisters Podcast are starting a cotton KAL with Creek Gardens Crafts to make a crescent shaped shawl in some amazing color so she needs to order some yarn and wait for that pattern to drop. The girls are also currently doing a Stephen West KAL and Jocelyn has that Speckle and Pop Shawl she needs to finish and a KAL sounds like just the motivation she needs.

  1. Thanks for mentioning me on the Ravelry thread. I haven’t gotten back there to comment more. Must do today. Diana, your wedding shawl is going to be to die for! The yarn pin /ivory piano key is so cool. I soo want one of those Northern Knit Podcast mugs too!
