Diana finished all the Thrummed Mittens for Knit Club based on the Lightning Fast Mittens by Hill Vintage and Knits out of Borgo de’ Pazzi Paco in Camel and Grey, unearthed from the UFO bin an old pair of Thrummed Mittens out of bulky alpaca yarn from a local farm (ball band lost), and Bloomsbury Mitts by Uma Padu from Love of Knitting, Fall 2017 out of Allison Barnes Yarn Merino Worsted in Resillience.
Jocelyn has made more Grandmother’s Favorite Dishclothes out of Bernat Handicrafter Cotton in Salt and Pepper, continued working on 365 Days of Granny Squares by YarnUtopia out of Red Heart Soft Classic, the Eh! Pillow by GC Designs out of Estelle Worsted in charcoal grey and cranberry red, the Zadie Sweater by Mercedes Tarasovich out of Cloudborn Highland Worsted in Slate Heather, a Hat!?!, her mom’s Dragon’s Rest Shawl by Abigail Phelps out of Bernat Premium in grey, and finished the first fingerless mitt of the pattern she is designing.
Yarn on the Go
We worked on our knitting while we played Dungeons and Dragons.
Diana went to her fiance’s work Christmas party, and discussed spinning and knitting. She also went to Grandma’s house to do some baking with the 3 and 5 year olds.
Fibre Flubs
Jocelyn tried to make a hat out of some Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick, when the cable fell out of her circular needles.
