Episode 13 – Green Beverages

What’s in Our Cup

We are both drinking the green Coca-Cola Life.

Cool Threads

Diana wore her Rainbowside Shawl to her new job.

Woolly Workings

Jocelyn added a green scalloped edge to the Textured Triangle Shawl by Marly Bird out of Red Heart Soft Essentials in White and is working on a second one out of a Caron Cake in Bumbleberry. She is also working on  365 Days of Granny Squares, the Boneyard Shawl by Stephen West out of Bernat Premium in Teal, the Winter Honey Shawl by Andrea Mowry out of Briggs & Little Regal in Briar Rose, the Stormy Sky Shawl by Life is Cozy out of Ancient Arts in Really Seriously Annoyed Grapes, and the Starting Point MKAL by Joji Locatelli out of Berrocco Pima 100 in Larkspur, Hydrangea, Magnolia(?), and Stonecrop(?), and Ancient Arts in Great Blue Heron.

Diana is working on the Textured Triangle Shawl by Marly Bird out of Red Heart Soft Classic in Dark Leaf and Wheat, her Wedding Shawl (Evenstar Shawl) by Susan Pandorf out of Forever Yarn 100% Lamb’s Wool in natural, the Bellrose Shawl by Martina Behm out of Sheep En Soie in Remembering Rose (this is the first Strickmich! Club package of the year), and her dad’s “safety” socks out of ONLine Supersocke 4-fach in Forest-Color.

Yarn on the Go

Diana showed off the Electric Eel Wheel 5 at knit club. She received her second Strickmich! Club package in the mail.

Jocelyn brought knitting to Diana’s place.

We mention the board game Mechs vs. Minions.

Fiber Flubs

Diana missed an increase on the Textured Triangle Shawl.

Jocelyn tried to knit lace without a lifeline on the Stormy Sky Shawl, got too into the drama of Roswell while working on the second Textured Triangle Shawl, and frogged and restarted the Winter Honey Shawl earlier in the podcast.
